DISSPLA is a high-level FORTRAN graphics subroutine library forinteractive or batch data representation applications in engineering,scientific, and business marketplaces. DISSPLA's integrated graphicssubroutines allow programmers to generate graphs, charts, maps, surfaces,contours, and 2-D and 3-D designs.DISSPLA uses an integrated system architecture to ensure consistencythroughout the user's application. For example, a contour diagram can bedrawn in relation to a predefined map projection, unlike many othergraphic libraries that are built on the petal model concept -- a graphicscore with external options.DISSPLA accepts and can graphically represent data from a variety ofsources. Typical applications are finite element analysis, RDBMS,spreadsheets, and statistical analysis.DISSPLA combines ease of use, comparatively few lines of code, and thehighest-quality output available for presentation graphics.
